ABOUT
I am a native of the Finger Lakes area. I graduated from Canandaigua Academy. I then attended SUNY at Morrisville and earned an AAS in Saddlehorse Management and Production. I went to work at a local manufacturing company and began attending St. John Fisher College simultaneously. Several years later, I earned my BS in Management and Psychology. Through a series of life experiences, I was led to continue my education at Syracuse University where I obtained a Master’s in Social Work.I have worked with horses, spent time working in a factory for 9 years, and I am devoted to my family. These “real life” experiences give me the unique ability to relate to my clients in a genuine, effective way.I incorporate a unique blend of various treatment modalities including EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), DBT and Somatic Experiencing™ techniques to help people stabilize and get to the root of emotional distress. My style is collaborative, as I believe each person has the power within themselves to heal. They may just need some new skills or someone to facilitate the process.
